Helping Hearts People Association -Chengalpattu Society has been formed by Group of women Social workers on 7th January 2022 at Chengalpattu District.
About Us
Helping Hearts People Association
The organization is working in the fields of Health, Education, Children issues, Community development, Women empowerment, environmental issues and relief measures during natural disaster.
To create awareness and medical camps for poor marginalized people in rural/ tribal/ urban areas, regarding communicable and other lifestyle diseases.
To provide counseling, care, treatment and support services for people affected by HIV, Tuberculosis and Cancer.
To promote women empowerment through education, awareness and trainings.

To bring equality in their rights and responsibilities and also to empower them by promoting their standard of health and education.
Our Programs
Health awareness programs
The support group
meeting will provide the members with a platform to share their problems and Concerns about
Confidentiality and teach each other how to cope. The Support group meeting will help to
Strengthen their Knowledge on HIV/AIDS and TB related Issues and develop the community. In
this year we conducted three support group meetings around 55 people participated in the
meetings.
Counselling support for People Living with HIV/AIDS & Tuberculosis
The society as provided a Counselling Support to 30 PLHIV, TB and cancer survivor in various issues like through our member.
Counselling on HIV/TB treatment related quarries.
Discordant couple counselling specially on Safe Sex and condom promotion.
Nutrition Counselling for TB Survivor.
Key population counselling specially on Safe Sex and condom promotion.
Children and Adolescent Treatment Education Counselling.
ART Treatment Adherence Counselling.
Formation of self help groups
The society has formed one women self help group in the chengalpattu district. Monthly one
meeting was conducted for the members of the self help group women. Each one was
encouraged to pay monthly subscription to open the bank account the self help group. The
society will form more such women self help groups in future. They are also encouraged to start
small business such as tailoring, soap making arts and crafts materials etc,. This will empower
the women to become economic independent.
Education and Nutrition Support for Children
We have Mobilized Local resource to support poor children’s education and Nutrition through
Local donors. 30 Children Living with HIV/AIDS are benefited. We provided support for School
uniforms, educational materials and dry ration support.

Important day celebrations
All the important and festival days like Independence day, Pongal, Christmas, etc were celebrated as a team. Also programs and guests were also invited for these programs.

Flood relief material distribution
Food and others items were distributed and supported for the affected people in the flood. Necessary food and other need items were bought and distributed to them.

Distribution of nutritional food
To improve the health of the women and children in the village nutritional food were distributed on a regular interval basis

Study materials for school children's were distributed among the village in the focus of improving the study habits and encouraging them to go to school
